Dear Prospective Martial Arts Student: Thank you for your interest in East-Wind Martial Arts School, the most unique martial arts establishment in Southern California's Inland Empire. East-Wind specializes in private self-defense instruction, and has been doing so for over thirty-five years. At East-Wind, we know that each student has distinct abilities, strengths and weaknesses which will be uncovered during their exploration of the martial arts. Through our decades of teaching experience, we have learned that personal training is the most efficient method to develop the coordination, control, power, confidence and technique necessary to effectively counter a hostile assault. Devastating fighting ability is only one product of individualized instruction, and it is a talent we hope our students will never need to use. Even more importantly, personalized training in the martial arts facilitates the development of skills and abilities used on a daily basis. The physical rewards include the tangible enhancement of strength, flexibility, and both aerobic and anaerobic conditioning. The careful monitoring of the student's progress and the constant direct feedback from the student's personal instructor fosters the development of a clear understanding of his or her body's dynamics in motion. Ultimately, this knowledge allows our students to master their enhanced mental and physical abilities. It has been proven that under private individual instruction, a student learns and improves up to fifty percent faster than a person who tries to learn in a group atmosphere. The focus developed enhances skills in virtually all physical and sporting pursuits and dramatically improves concentration in daily activities. The benefits of East-Wind's personal instruction are virtually unlimited, but these positive results require both dedication and hard work. In order to evaluate whether you have the ambition to pursue the goals of East-Wind training, we offer all potential students four introductory private lessons. These lessons will enable us to assess your abilities and allow you to experience our training methods. If you would like to try the introductory lessons or should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call us at (951) 688-7220. We will be happy to make an appointment for a lesson, a tour of the school, or just discuss our program. Sincerely yours,
